Aurinko is the meaning of the Sun in Finnish.

Aurinko is hot and composed of fire. This represents that we are having a passionate heart in contributing to GGAS and our beloved Members, at the same time we would like to show our passion for our members and towards the field of Geography, Geology, and Archaeology.

Aurinko impresses everyone with its positivity. Under the pandemic, people have experienced their new normal for the third year in a row. Aurinko strives to bring hope and happiness, generating a motivation to gather our GGAS Members back to school again.

Aurinko has the power to attract and bond with other planets within the magnetic fields. We aim to gather not just the Executive Committee, Members, and the Department, but as well as anyone who has a strong interest in these three subjects. This bonding and cohesion represent that GGAS and all other like-minded people are complementary to one another.

Aurinko and other planets in the solar system have been developed in a sustainable and harmonize manner. We, as the 68th proposed cabinet of GGAS, will strive to carry out meaningful and attractive activities for our honourable Members, as well as inspiring Freshmen as our companions.
